DIABETES - Be part of the Future in Diabetes Research


You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are 40 years of age or older. Women must be post-menopausal or using a highly effective method for avoidance of pregnancy.
  • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
  • Have established cardiovascular disease with at least one of the following: coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease, or peripheral arterial disease.

Achieve Control Study

Has your doctor recommended that you begin taking insulin to control your diabetes?

If so, you may want to consider participating in Achieve Control……

Achieve Control is a real-world study sponsored by Sanofi and will include patients who are starting insulin for the first time. The study will evaluate how well patient reach their HbA1C targets using one of the marketed basal insulin without experiencing symptoms of low blood sugar such as dizziness etc.

You may be eligible if ……

  • You have Type 2 diabetes
  • You have used 2 or more anti-diabetes medications for at least 1 year
  • You have never used insulin ( except for temporary use during hospitalization or pregnancy)

Your participation in this study is voluntary and will last up to 12 months if you complete the study. The cost for the insulin and supplies will be provided by the study sponsor.



If you currently have an abnormal lipid profile, you may qualify to participate in a clinical research study. To qualify, you must be at least 18 years of age, have triglyceride levels between 200 and 500 mg/dL, and meet other eligibility criteria. Study-related exams and medication/placebo may be provided to qualified participants.


Do you have high cholesterol and a history of Heart Disease, Kidney Disease, or Diabetes? If so you may qualify for a clinical research study.

You may qualify for this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years old
  • Have high cholesterol
  • Are taking medication to treat high cholesterol
  • Have a history of heart disease, kidney disease, or diabetes


COPD Trial

If you are living with moderate-to-severe COPD, you may qualify for a new clinical research study. The study is for an investigational medication that may help improve COPD symptoms.

You may be able to take part in the study if you:

  • At least 40 years old
  • Current or former smoker
  • Have been diagnosed with COPD, emphysema, or chronic bronchitis
  • Use oxygen no more than 15 hours per day
  • Able to attend required study visits


Birth Control Ring

Clinical Research doctors are studying an investigational vaginal ring for birth control. Doctors are conducting this study to evaluate whether the investigational vaginal ring is safe and effective.

Do I qualify?

The study staff will determine if you are eligible to participate. At a minimum, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Are a woman 18 years of age or older
  • Are heterosexually active and at risk for pregnancy
  • Must agree to avoid other forms of birth control while participating in the study



The goal of the Whisper Study is to demonstrate long-lasting, clinical meaningful pain relief in patients with chronic pain of the low back and/or limbs who prefer no paresthesia (tingling), when using the Boston Scientific Precision Spinal Cord Stimulator System.

Eligible study candidates must meet key criteria including but not limited to:

  • Complaint of chronic pain of the trunk or limbs
  • Implanted on –label with a Precision SCS system for at least 6 months prior to informed consent
  • Interested in SCS-induced pain relief without paresthesia

Foot Ulcer

Are you a diabetic? Do you have a sore on your foot?

A foot ulcer is an open sore on the foot that can be difficult to heal. You may qualify to participate in a clinical research study of an investigational product.

Qualified participants may receive study-related:

  • Evaluations, physical exams, routine lab work
  • Investigational product or placebo
  • Wound care dressings

Compensation for time and travel may be available.

Flu Trial

If you’ve had flu symptoms for less than 5 days, consider our study on a new investigational flu treatment.

Our clinic is looking for volunteers to test a new investigational study medication for people with influenza (flu). To participate you must:

  • Be 18 to 65 years old
  • Have flu symptoms that began within the last 5 days (including fever, aches, chills, cough, nasal congestion, sore throat, headache, or fatigue
  • Have not taken flu medicines like Tamiflu, Relenza, or Rapivab in the past 2 weeks

Your medical history and other criteria will be reviewed at the first study visit to see if you can be in the study.

The main part of the study includes 4 visits to the study clinic over 7 days and 6 scheduled telephone calls over the next 3 months. Qualified participants will receive study medication at no cost.
