State-of-the-art technology with the expertise of renowned clinicians, and all of this, close-to-home, along Indiana’s Heartland Corridor, offers patients an opportunity to devote all of their inner resources to healing.
Only the finest imaging technology will do when battling cancer. That’s why American Health Network has assembled a formidable front line in medical and cancer imaging technology. Our Advanced Radiation Therapy system offers Multi-Leaf Collimator (MLC), allowing clinicians to specifically target cells requiring treatment, leaving surrounding, healthy tissue unharmed. Positron Emmission Tomography (PET/CT) helps clinicians monitor growth of tissue and chart a course of treatment customized to each individual’s diagnosis. Other imaging modalities include a 1.5 Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and a 16-slice CT.
All the imaging modalities employ the Picture Archiving and Communications System/ Radiology Information System (PACS/RIS), which allows all your doctors to process and share your digital images, on-line, without you needing to ever pick-up or deliver films.
