If you have type 2 diabetes, and are between 18 and 80 years of age, find out if you qualify for a clinical research study of an investigational oral diabetes medication.
You may be eligible if your blood sugar is not well-controlled using the following treatments:
• Metformin only
OR
• Metformin and a sulfonylurea (such as: glimepiride, glipizide, or glyburide
If eligible to participate, you will be seen by a study doctor and receive study-related testing and medication at no cost. If enrolled, you may be reimbursed for parking and travel expenses.

With neuropathy, even the smallest things can cause huge pain. That’s good reason to join our study of painful Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.

A clinical research study of an investigational oral medication in people with hand, foot, or leg pain caused by diabetes-related nerve damage.age, severe pain in the hands, feet, or legs (peripheral pain) that has not been relieved with over-the-counter or prescription pain relievers for at least 3 months.
- Been diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes and have experiences signs or symptoms of painful Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN) for at least 6 months
- Controlled your blood sugar levels for at least 3 months prior to enrolling in the study
Participation in this 5-month study requires 14 office visits and 1 follow-up phone call.
All study-related office visits, medical evaluations, and study medication for pain will be provided to qualified study participants at no cost.

Harmony
When your Type 2 Diabetes is out of control, finding harmony is essential.
If you are having trouble controlling your diabetes, consider participating in HARMONY, a research study evaluating an investigational diabetes medication that’s taken only once a week.
Even when you follow all of your doctor’s instructions, your blood sugar levels can still be difficult to maintain. And, the inconvenience of multiple daily dose required by other medications can often disrupt your daily routine. Now, the HARMONY program is evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational type 2 diabetes medication, which could require less frequent dosings than many current treatments.
Local doctors are currently evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational diabetes medication that's taken only once a week.
To be eligible for the HARMONY program, you must be:
- 18 years of age or older
- diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, AND
- having trouble controlling your blood sugar levels.
Qualified participants will receive study treatment as well as study-related medical evaluations and tests at no cost.
