Hours may vary
due to COVID-19

To help us care for patients as safely as possible during this time, some of our locations are closed or have different hours.

If you need care, contact your local AHN provider.

Our ExpressCare clinics in Indiana offer the care you need, with little or no wait. They’re part of our health centers in New Albany and Avon, which are also home to our primary and specialty care units.

The focus of our health centers is on wellness and helping you to easily get care for conditions from the simple to the complex.

Is ExpressCare the same as urgent care?

We're alike in that we offer the same types of services and treatments as a typical urgent care center. We're different in that we bill our services at the rate of a regular doctor's office visit. This is usually much lower than the cost of an urgent care visit.

Our services

We offer the following services:

  • Care for a wide range of acute (sudden) medical symptoms
  • Sports physicals
  • Tetanus and flu shots (for patients only)

Conditions we care for

We see patients with health concerns of all kinds, including:

  • Allergies
  • Animal and insect bites
  • Coughs, colds and sore throats
  • Cuts and serious wounds
  • Diarrhea and vomiting
  • Ear and eye infections
  • Flu and fevers
  • Minor burns and rashes
  • Simple fractures (broken bones), sprains and strains

  • No appointment is necessary. Come in anytime during our regular office hours. You can call the ExpressCare location in advance to get an idea of the wait time or to get any questions answered.

  • We accept all major health insurance plans. To find out if ExpressCare takes your insurance, please call the location you plan to visit.

  • You can receive urgent care in our ExpressCare clinics even if you don’t have a primary care doctor. That said, we think it’s important to have a primary care doctor. Here’s why.

Primary care is the foundation of quality care. You’ll work with a doctor who gets to know you and your unique health care needs. For the best health, see a primary care doctor at least once a year. If you’d like, we’re happy to help you find a primary care doctor.

  • We focus on caring for the health needs of the whole family. Our many locations and convenient hours make it easy to get the care you need, when and where you need it.
