Herniated disc

A herniated disc is a problem with one of the rubbery discs that sits between the bones of the spine. These discs allow the spine to twist and bend. Herniated discs are common and can happen in any part of the spine. 

Herniated discs are often caused by aging, injury or improper lifting. Symptoms include pain, weakness and numbness or tingling.
