It's safe to get the care you need

AHN is working hard to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at our offices while still making sure you get the care you need when you need it. In this video, Dr. Mark Benson, our chief medical officer, shares why it’s so important to get timely medical care.

Welcoming you to our practices safely

>>START

Hi, I'm Dr. Mark Benson. We want you to know that your health and safety are our extremely important

to us, and we remain here for you.

We want to assure you that we're carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation and that it's safe to come

and see your health care provider. Many people are avoiding important health care over fear for

contracting the virus.

Nationally, there has been significant harm to patients due to the delay in seeking care. In fact, the

impact can be greater than the impact of COVID infection itself. Cancer diagnoses are occurring at later

stages and we have seen heart attacks and strokes occur outside of the health care system.

Complications from diabetes have gone unchecked.

The fact is that our practices are adhering to CDC, state and local guidelines and requirements.

Our offices are some of the safest public places where you can be because we've implemented safety

protocols like thorough sanitization between every patient visit and all staff members wearing

appropriate protective personal equipment when caring for patients.

We're taking every measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to make sure our patients, as well

as our employees, are comfortable with several different ways we can deliver and receive care. Things

like video visits, a free live nurse hotline and curbside check-ins.

With everything going on, it's easy to find ourselves anxious, stressed or even depressed, so we began

our Wellness Starts Within initiative as a means to provide our patients with helpful tools, resources and

seminars to better their daily wellness. For more information, you can visit WellnessStartsWithin.com

where you can learn more.

We're making it safe to get the care you need, whether that's in-person or virtually - so just talk to

your provider. We are grateful to have you as a patient and we want to help you live your healthiest life!
