Spinal fusion

Text

Spondylolisthesis is a condition in which one of the bones of the spine slips out of place, usually at the base of the spine. This can pinch a nerve and cause pain in the legs and feet. Spondylolisthesis can happen when joints are weak or if bones are fractured.

During the surgery, the surgeon fuses two or more vertebrae together. This helps stabilize the spine.
