Cholesterol is a fat (also known as a lipid) that your body needs to work properly. But too much bad cholesterol can lead to serious health problems, including heart disease and stroke. And often, it has no symptoms.

We can help you manage your high cholesterol

Many American Health Network (AHN) offices offer our high cholesterol management program. It can dramatically reduce emergency room and hospital visits.

Other benefits include:

  • We meet with you to focus on education and lifestyle changes.
  • At follow-up visits, we’ll retest and monitor your lipids. If changes are needed to any medications, we'll take care of that.
  • You'll work with a care team, meaning that one of our doctors is always available to answer questions.
