Hi, I'm Dr. Mark Benson.
Hi, I'm Dr. Mark Benson. We want you to know that your health and safety are our extremely important
to us, and we remain here for you.
Today, our Chief Nursing Executive Kari Garnett is going to walk us through the importance of wearing
masks according to CDC guidelines as you visit our offices.
>KARI
Thank you, Dr. Benson. We are committed to serving our patients with the best care possible and to
keep them safe and healthy.
When preparing for your in-person appointment, please plan to wear a face mask. If you don't bring one
with you or forget to bring yours, we will provide a surgical mask for you to wear while inside the office.
To help continue to slow the spread of COVID-19, all patients above the age of 2 are required to wear
masks while visiting our practices. This is because many people infected with coronavirus have no
symptoms, so the CDC advises that all of us wear face coverings as a way to protect one another from
this virus.
You'll notice that all patients and clinical team members will be wearing masks whenever in patient
facing areas.
Clinicians supporting patients that have coronavirus symptoms will be wearing an N-95 type mask along
with other personal protective equipment.
Current research tells us that wearing a mask is important in helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The CDC recommends that people wear cloth masks in public settings when other social distancing
measures are difficult to maintain.

Thanks, Kari! As you can see, we're taking every step to make you comfortable and safe here in our
practices - if you have questions or any concerns, please talk to your provider. Thank you.
